The SWIFT

THE SWIFT

OF

CAMDEN, MAINE

NEW ADDITION TO OUR MAINE WINDJAMMER FLEET

Swift is a very special vessel. Designed in 1935 by Murry Peterson, a masterful naval architect famous for his coaster designs. It took almost twenty years of love and dedication to build this vessel which was launched in 1983. Originally for private use, she was recently purchased with the intention of operating as a day sailor certified to carry 33 passengers. We acquired her in 2021 and are completely redoing the interior to operate as a six-passenger vessel in the overnight trade. Coast Guard limits occupancy to six individual reservations or up to twelve if chartered. She will be ready to sail for the 2023 sailing season.

Accommodations include two double cabins with full size beds and what we are calling the family cabin which has three single beds, one of which can be converted to a double. This will be handy for charters with extended family or friends. Each cabin has a private enclosed electric flushing head and sink. Reading lights, electric fans and charging ports are in all cabins. There is a hot water shower and day head off the main salon. Though well-appointed below, the real highlight is her spacious deck which will be shared by an intimate group of six or slightly more if chartered.

We are very excited about this new vessel and look forward to sharing it with you.
