OUR BEST WISHES CAPT. RAY & ANN
Well it's been quite the year for everyone. While it has been challenging, it has also brought joy.
In June we welcomed a third granddaughter, Grace named in honor of the Grace Bailey. We were fortunate to be able to meet and get to know her when Kristi came home for an extended visit from California this fall - Another beautiful young lady has been added to our family!
The Grace Bailey and Mercantile remained in port under winter covers this year which was difficult, but at the same time it allowed for some spare time this fall. I put the extra time to good use building a tree house for granddaughters, Aria and Isla. I installed a small wood burning stove so the girls have been able to enjoy sleepovers with their dad in spite of the cold weather.
We thank our passengers who have sent messages of support in response to our drastically scaled back calendar mailing for 2021. It has been heartwarming to hear their encouragement and memories of past times on our schooners. If you did not receive a calendar or would like to share one with a friend, Visit 2021 Calendar Download to either download a printable version or share the link.
The roll out of the COVID vaccine offers all of us great hope that life will begin to return to some semblance of normalcy in the near future. In the mean time please follow safety guidelines. Exercise safe distancing and wear your masks. There is a light at the end of the tunnel and we want you all to be there when we come out the other side!
Ann and I feel so blessed to have our family, our health and the support of friends and passengers past, present and future. We will begin our preparations for the 2021 sailing season in April and hope to see you aboard as it becomes safe to do so.
Our very best wishes to all of you for this Holiday Season as we enter 2021 and always.
