Welcome to Spring and the Sailing Season
Spring is here and the Mercantile is at the North End Shipyard for her spring haul out and inspection.
All hands are busy with power washing, scraping, sanding, caulking and painting. The work is hard but the enthusiasm is high in anticipation of an exciting Season. The freshness of another new sailing season never gets old. The schooners are shining and everyone's sheer joy at finally being able to get out on the Bay is contagious.
After a long hard winter, warm days have arrived and all of us are in full gear for a great sailing season. Some of the best cruises (and best bargains) are during our PreSeason. Starting Shakedown on May 15th there are two weekend cruises and beginning on May 24th three and six day cruises. Beginning June 21st, we will be sailing on our regular schedule of weekend, 3-Day, 4-Day, 5-Day and cruises each week.
Remember during the PreSeason, if you have chosen the 3-Day cruise on the first half of the week, when Wednesday arrives and you're just having too much fun, IF THERE IS SPACE AVAILABLE, you can check with us about staying on board for the second half of the cruise, for an additional discounted fee.
