April 3, 2007 Another season is almost upon us. The crew has arrived and is busy preparing the schooners for sailing. This year marks the 125th birthday of the Schooner Grace Bailey, and it is exactly 25 years ago that I first sailed aboard her.

We are wrapping up our winter project, caulking the decks of the Schooner Mercantile. You can read about this in the March edition of our E-newsletter, Maine Windjammer Cruise News.

Most of our crew will be returning from last year with a couple who have been away for a while on other sailing adventures.

Sailing the windjammers has been a grand experience and we hope you will sail with us this season. Maine is just about the prettiest place to sail, and the windjammers are the best way to see it.

Our three schooners sail from beautiful Camden, Maine, twice each week on cruises that last from three to five days. You're welcome to pitch in and help sail the schooner or just sit back and enjoy the ride. Either way you're sure to have fun.

Reservations can be made online 24/7 at our Schedules & Reservations page, or you can contact Jackie, Ann or myself. Of course, you may call us if you prefer at (800)736-7981. We are always glad to answer any questions you may have.
