August 22, 20062006 has been a busy sailing season for Capt. Ray. He has been sailing 7 days a week for most weeks on the Grace Bailey. As his Executive Assistant, I, Jackie will give you some update information for this year. We rotate our season and relief Captains and this season have had Capt. JR Braugh, Capt. Kerry Phillips, Capt. Allysa Williamson and Capt. Casey Charowick. Capt. James Pearson of Eastport, Maine will be joining us this fall as JR is headed for Art School, we wish him the best. The Mistress has been busy with its regular schedule and a day charter for a wedding and another day charter for a memorial at sea. Both celebrations of life in their own right. The Long Island Single Sailors of NY joined us on the Mercantile in early August for a 3-day sail. Many other people got gift certificates for graduation, birthdays, anniversaries, etc. We have had additional weddings on the Grace Bailey and Mercantile and plenty of honeymooners.

We have had people from the Netherlands, Germany, Belgium, Australia, and England join us this year along with our many friends from Canada. The many states we have people from include AL, AR, AZ, CA, CO, CT, DC, DE, FL, GA, IA, IL, IN, KS, KY, LA, MA, MD, ME, MI, MN, MO, MS, NC, NE, NH, NJ, NM, NY, OH, OK, OR, PA, RI, SC, TN, TX, UT, VA, VT, WA, WI and WV.

Good food and good company and excellent sailing this year has continued giving people a good time and we have had lots of wonderful comments from our passengers, now considered Old Salts. Many of these Old Salts are coming back for their second cruise, same season, half price or already planning for 2007. If you haven't signed up already, we have still got some good sailing for the fall and good discounts available for 2007 for early bookings.

Regards,
Jackie Watts for Captain Ray
