Well its winter in Camden and the snow is deep. Luckily I have a winter hobby, snowboarding. Conditions have been perfect and I've been getting out a lot. Otherwise I have been busy delving into the history of this company. We are celebrating our 75th anniversary this year so I am writing a book that with over 100 pictures we hope will tell the story of Maine Windjammer Cruises. It is amazing how many articles have been written in Look, Life, Cue and other magazines over the decades. Of special interest are the ones from the thirties and forties that talk about the early days. I have also enjoyed several meetings with Rod Swift, Frank Swift's son who was born the same year the company was founded.

We'll be giving away copies of the book to our guests who sail with us on our Diamond Anniversary. Why not join us as there will be a lot of great stories that don't make it into the book.

Old salts can sail at Historic Prices. Sail for the same price you sailed on your first Maine Windjammer Cruise. If you sailed in the sixties that could be as low as $150. Check our eSpecials for more 75th Anniversary deals.

As we celebrate our 25th anniversary as owners of this company we are proud to offer the same great sailing vacation it has provided for 75 years.
